 My classes focus on breath control, relaxation, muscle toning and lengthening, alignment and intention. I enjoy teaching classes that are uplifting and that energize you for the rest of your day,while providing mental clarity. I am a brand new instructor and am just finishing my training this May for my 200 hr Yoga Teaching Certification through The Yoga Alliance, under Brian Henderson at Open Way Yoga Studio in Huron, where I also teach. Yoga means union with the divine self, and is a practice of balancing the mind, body and soul within the energetic fieldto create harmony throughout your entire being. Yoga is about being present in the moment and shifting your awareness within. It is in these moments of stillness, created through the stretching and releasing of pent up tension in the body that allow us to get in touch with our true selves and our life’s deeper purpose.
