Exploring the Elder Futhark: A Beginner's Workshop
This 3.5-hour workshop introduces participants to the Elder Futhark runes, covering their significance and practical applications in divination, ritual work, meditation, sound work, and visual representation. The class includes grounding exercises and energetic activities including sensing rune energy and chanting (Galdr). Participants will learn the meanings of each rune in the three Aetts, learn how simple divination spreads are formed, protective rune circles invoked, and personal bind runes are made. The session concludes with a discussion and Q&A to share experiences and deepen understanding.
My bio
Darrell is a spiritual eclectic with a keen interest in applied magick and personal mythology. His practice incorporates Elder Futhark runes as both a meditative tool and a means of connecting to wisdom. An Ohio native, he enjoys sci-fi fantasy and gardening with his husband and three cat-kids.
